The ON shoes Cloudnova X black/eclipse running shoes are designed for versatile training, from gym sessions and circuits to short road runs and all-day wear. Soft, springy cushioning and mid-level stability help deliver a smooth ride when you move from workout to street.
The upper uses a soft spacer mesh that promotes maximum airflow to keep feet cooler during intense sessions. Smooth materials at the heel and tongue create a plush, low-friction step-in feel for comfort during long days on your feet. Standard lacing lets you dial in a secure, familiar fit for dynamic movements.
A dual-density Helion™ superfoam midsole combines softer foam in the forefoot for a springy, cushioned toe-off with firmer foam and a wider platform under the heel for added stability. Full-length CloudTec® runs the length of the shoe to give a consistent, smooth transition through each stride, with a 15 mm heel-to-toe drop that favors a more cushioned heel landing.
An updated tread pattern is tuned for grip during side-to-side movements, supporting agility work, classes, and gym sessions. Quick-collapsing Cloud elements in the heel work with the broader platform to enhance stability when you load and unload the rearfoot under weight.
