Using a Dermizax EV membrane rated at 20,000 mm / 20,000 g/m²/24h, it balances weather protection and breathability for full days on snow.
The shell of the Virtus Dermizax EV WMS jacket uses a Dermizax EV stretchable membrane combined with four-way stretch fabric. This gives the jacket a close, athletic fit that still lets you move freely while carving, skating to the lift, or working through moguls. The flexible outer fabric follows your movements smoothly instead of bunching or binding.
The Dermizax EV membrane delivers a 20,000 mm water column, so it resists sustained snow and wet chairlifts, while fully taped waterproof zippers help keep critical closure points sealed. With breathability rated at 20,000 g/m²/24h, the jacket allows moisture from body heat to escape, so you stay drier during higher-output runs and when the sun comes out.
Inside, the Virtus Dermizax EV WMS jacket uses duck down insulation with an 80/20 down-to-feather ratio and 550 fill power. This blend offers soft loft and consistent warmth while keeping the jacket comfortable to wear on both colder and milder days, depending on your base and mid layers.
The women-specific cut works with the four-way stretch fabric to provide a contoured, ergonomic fit. A snow gaiter with a wide silicone gripper helps seal out snow at the waist, while cuff snow gaiters at the wrists create a snug interface with gloves.
