The 6D ATR-3 Patriot FIM matt black helmet is a motocross and enduro helmet engineered around 6D’s fifth-generation Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) system and a rebuildable design for riders who demand high-end protection and performance. It combines a 3K carbon composite shell with advanced multi-layer liners to manage a wide range of impact energies on track or trail.
The ATR-3 uses a 3K carbon composite outer shell paired with a multi-impact EPP outer liner featuring Damping Towers and a replaceable inner EPS liner that functions like a “helmet within a helmet.” ODS 5 Isolation Dampers connect these layers, allowing controlled movement to reduce angular acceleration from oblique impacts and then recentering the liner. An EPP-lined chinbar with a polyurethane over-molded sternum pad, clavicle cut-away, and cervical spine relief zone add targeted protection around the jaw, collarbone, and neck. Inside, a removable, washable antibacterial comfort liner and emergency-release cheek pads support both comfort and trackside safety.
